This scenic 10 km patch can be further divided into 3 different location’s, please note roads which are marked in the MAP from point A to B (10km) are dusty and any SUV can drive, if one wants to enjoy the drive in lush forest and road C (4km) which requires a 4X4 cause it’s complete off road with some section of steep incline and decline and some rocky patches, but this off road drive is worth the money it’s a paradise and cause when you reach at the top it turn’s into a small bugyal (plain grass land) and after 10 minutes of walk you reach Burmdev chyonri top 6600ft , 360 degree view, or one can take the 1.2 km trek from star marked on road D, which is the USP of this area Himalaya’s rises with every step you take towards the top. Beginning of November embarks the 3 month journey of the Sun between the equinox’s and it turns the entire location into some transcendental 3d wallpaper that change’s as the sun moves in the sky, from colourful sun rise to a sunset that trips the imagination on prism spectrum of colours, Due to winter snowfall begins to accumulate on high Himalaya’s and you see 20 thounsanders rocky peaks changes and takes different shades, as the winter proceeds intermittent snowfall changes the entire spectrum of viewing those mountains as sunlight comes from different angle, many, passes ,valleys and hanging glaciers appears right before the eye for one to wonder, one can actually sea peaks those were creating camouflage with peaks ahead of them, snow reveals the clear definition of the region,
Winter weather: temperature ranges from 17H to -4L
Unlike too cold places, this location is warmer for winter, with only occasional snowfall and temperature rarely drops below -4 in winter nights, and during days times just one sweater does it, The love for the SUN emerges from ones soul, I call it sunshine therapy. You might want to put sunglasses on cause reflection of Himalaya’s is bit much for eye’s.
